I’m normally not a big fan of green colours, but I must admit this “underside leaf” green really grows on me. It’s a 2018 limited edition Kyo-no-oto series #8 is Urahairo. “Ura” means underside and “Ha” means leaf. People in Heian-era of Kyoto lives this colour, and used it for Kimono textiles, towels, baby cloths and more. It’s a pale and subdued green, just like looking through the leaves from under a tree when it’s sunny outside. Lovely for drawing greenery, and daily writing too. Has a nice soothing effect for me, keeps me calm while scribbling notes and 💡 throughout a hectic day. What do you think?
